• Exhibiting artists are asked to donate two (2) soup/chili bowls The Wichita Ceramics National Exhibition is part of a cluster of events that are centered around the annual Wichita Empty Bowls fundraiser. This is an annual event that raises awareness about hunger and food insecurity. The featured event is a bowl sale and chili cook-off, which draws together artists, local galleries and museums, and food industry partners in Wichita. Exhibiting artists are asked to donate two functional bowls that will be offered for sale to the public. 100% of the sales of these bowls will go to the Empty Bowls beneficiaries.
